Oracle beendet Support für Mysql 5.[01]
Der Support für Mysql 5.0 wird ende des Jahres eingestellt. Der Support für Mysql 5.4 wird 2010 eingestellt. Mysql 5.4 ist noch nicht fertig. Ob Oracle den Nutzern ein Zeitfenster für den Upgrade gibt ist unsicher. Wahrscheinlich kommt zuvor eine small oracle server with comfortable upgrade path heraus...
Und ich hab mich letztens noch drüber aufgeregt das es keinen sauberen Upgradepfad mehr für ein ubuntu feisty gibt...
